About Potty About Flowers

Although Philadelphus Jeyes ran a renowned chemist and gift store in Northampton town centre from 1819 until the mid sixties it was not until 1981 that David and Georgina Jeyes started their own community pharmacy on The Square in Earls Barton.

During the past twenty six years not only has the pharmacy grown and become an  important part of village life but also we have  created a unique variety of  “shops within a shop” You really will be surprised what you will find behind the chemist’s door at Jeyes.

At Jeyes you can visit The Dolly Lodge with dolls houses for the “Young at heart”, The Keepsake Gift Store for all the family,  Sweeter Dreams for cotton nightwear, The Teddy Bear Kingdom, books, toys and games too. There is free entry to Earls Barton Museum of Village Life - you will always receive a warm welcome if you are able to pay a visit.  The Apothocoffee Shop is the perfect place for  morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.

The latest venture is “Potty About Flowers”, created by the next generation Philippa and Anna Jeyes. In a new garden conservatory there are gifts galore with flowers in mind and The Blossom Tea Lounge to welcome visiting groups.

www.pottyaboutflowers.co.uk has been created by the Jeyes Family to help you purchase the ranges of flower themed gifts on line or by mail order on the telephone - explore the website and find your favourite flower.  It may be a rose, pansy, poppy, or fragrant lavender, you may find it on china, glass, tableware, fine cloth or stationery  Take a stroll up our garden path, we are,  after all, “potty about flowers”
